Financial Report 2014

The Federation's balance sheet as at October 31, 2014 and the Statements of operations and changes in fund balances for the ten months then ended are enclosed. The balance sheet shows a cash position of $18,232 and a small receivable of $840 that relates to the 2014 Hindu Youth Conference. The amount payable of $6,817 also relates to the 2014 Hindu Youth Conference. The 2013 amounts receivable and payable have been settled during 2014. The Statement of operations shows that the Federation's Ganesh Jayanti boat cruise resulted in a small loss of about $700. The 2014 Hindu Youth Conference produced total revenue of $12,600 and incurred expenses of almost the same amount, resulting in a break-even position. Membership revenue amounted to $2,200. The Federation welcomes the Toronto Hindu Dharmic Sabha and the Nithyananda Meditation Academy as new members.
